Congratulations to everyone! Last week was a fruitful event for Philippine Kendo!
The annual Hong Kong Asian Open Kendo Championships and Examination were held in Tin Shui Wai, HK. This year there are a lot of participants and examinees from Philippine Kendo including Manila Kendo Club. We are glad and proud to announce that we have, once again, 100% passing rate!

We have also sent a team to compete this year, a 3 man team for both women's and men's team (MKC members) and a 5-man team (senseis). With a successful event, we celebrated by having dinner with one of our closest clubs from overseas, Tanglin Kendo Club Singapore. On the last day, we celebrated again with a dinner with our very own Yamanishi sensei. Take a look at our performance for 3-man team and 5- man team!
