Another great practice session for Manila Kendo Club happened this weekend and this time, it’s in Davao. We were invited by Davao Kendo Club for a two day joint practice last June, 27 and 28. 17 members visited Davao which includes 7th Dan Naoko Morishima sensei and 5th Dan Tomo Akita sensei. We were also joined by 6th Dan Taka Nishikawa sensei and 6th Dan Masahiro Ono sensei from the Hongkong Kendo Association. Our thanks to Davao Kendo Club head 3rd Dan Philip Lim, senior member Johnny Teofilo Lardera Jr. and all the club members for being such gracious hosts. Arigato gosaimasu!
