It was a fruitful weekend for the Luzon based kendokas as United Kendo Federation of the Philippines staged their first official event of 2020, a Kata/Shinsa Seminar to prepare participating kendoka for the various shinsa (dan ranking exam) that will be held later this year. This is the first of three such seminars, with the Mindanao and Visayas legs to be held in February.
The event was held on Jan 26 from 8am to 12nn at the 2nd Floor Basketbal Court of Treston International College in Bonifacio Global City. An unofficial fellowship lunch was held immediately after in Cafe 7107 at the ground floor of Treston.
